71 (!) GESS Dolphins took part in the Huskies Swim Meet at Canadian School. Bringing the biggest team ever to an event shows that our new competitive swim programme bears fruit. Supported by vociferous cheers of friends and parents, Team GESS came in second with lots of our swimmers beating their personal bests and some even setting new meet records. Way to swim, Dolphins!

What an exciting match-up that was between our 11U boys and UWC East. Eventually, GESS scored the decisive point for a 3-2 win in the second double. Coach Pocks was proud how well the boys supported each other in this match.

The 12U boys won yet another game (23-17 against Dulwich), whereas the 16U were defeated by the same opponent (27-44). Our 19U lads fought well and came through victoriously in a tough battle against NPS (30-27).

The 14U girls had a difficult week schedule with two games against the volleyball heavyweights Stamford and Nexus. They lost both games but they surely did not lose the morale to come back strong this week.

Not only did our 14U girls manage to overcome UWC Dover in a close-fought game (3-2), it was also their fourth straight win in the highest ACSIS division. There are still some tough games to play in January but no doubt that future opponents will have tons of respect meeting this team on the pitch. The 14U boys lost a difficult game against NPS, whereas the 10U boys came in first in a successful home tournament.
